Made for More Initiative
Your Next Chapter Deserves Support
The Next Chapter Scholarship is a Made for More initiative that offers encouragement and financial support to women moving into their next chapter. That chapter may include a new goal, a fresh start, or a step toward the future they envision for themselves.
Despite its name, this scholarship is not limited to school or education. The funds may be used for whatever helps the recipient move forward.
Two Scholarships. Every Quarter.
Made for More awards two Next Chapter Scholarships each quarter:
$1,200
One scholarship
$600
One scholarship
Awards are made in January, April, July, and October.
Who Can Be Nominated?
Nominees must be female and at least 18 years old. There are no geographic, school-enrollment, or other background requirements.
Self-nominations are not accepted. A nominee must be nominated by someone else.
Previous Next Chapter Scholarship recipients are not eligible to receive another award until at least one full year has passed since their previous award.
More Than an Education Scholarship
Your next chapter does not have to involve a classroom. Next Chapter Scholarship funds are not restricted to tuition, books, certifications, or other educational expenses. They may support whatever helps the recipient take her next step forward.
How It Works
- 1
Nominate someone.
Submit a nomination through our Google nomination form between September 1 and September 25, 2026. Self-nominations are not accepted.
- 2
The nominee submits an essay.
Nominees must submit an essay by October 9, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. A nomination alone does not complete the consideration process.
- 3
The board prayerfully reviews the essays.
The Made for More Board of Directors reviews the submitted essays and selects two recipients: one for the $1,200 scholarship and one for the $600 scholarship.
- 4
Applicants are notified.
Applicants will be privately notified October 19–22. Recipients will be publicly announced October 23, 2026.
- 5
The board arranges payment.
The board contacts recipients to arrange payment through the President and/or Vice President of the Board of Directors.
After a nomination is received, Made for More will contact the nominee directly with essay instructions and submission details. Essays must be received by October 9, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. A nomination alone does not complete the consideration process.
Questions about nominations or essay submissions? Email [email protected].
Can Someone Be Considered Again?
Yes. Someone who is not selected may be considered in a future quarter. However, she must be nominated again and submit a new essay for that award round. Previous nominations and essays do not automatically carry forward.
Previous recipients must wait at least one full year after receiving an award before becoming eligible again. Once eligible, they must also receive a new nomination and submit a new essay.
Know a Woman Whose Next Chapter Could Use Some Support?
Your nomination could be the encouragement that helps her take the next step.
